CMU-wave is a prototype for a concrete masonry unit that employs thermal mass, indirect lighting, and sun tracking strategies to provide visual and thermal comfort.

By using parametric tools and referencing climate data, we were able to generate geometries that were optimized to achieve maximum solar efficiency at any input location.
